Welcome South Street School Families & Friends

As Principal of South Street School, I am incredibly proud to call this school my home-a place where kindness is valued, character is nurtured, and student independence is celebrated every day. Through this ethos, we strive to help our children develop a strong sense of self, discover their unique voice, and begin to recognize their true leadership potential through our ongoing study of Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Happy Kids.

With a strong collaborative culture and a shared belief in these principles, our dedicated staff and supportive families work together to create an environment where every child can thrive. This united commitment to character education was honored in 2025 when South Street School was designated as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School-a recognition held by only 600 schools worldwide.

As a Lighthouse School, we remain dedicated to empowering every student to develop the leadership skills necessary to make a meaningful and positive impact-not only within our school community, but in the world around them.
